Officer Chad Vessels

Officer Chad Vessels was born in Sherman, TX and graduated from S&S High School in 2000.
He attended Grayson County College from 2000 - 2002.

Interested in law enforcement, Officer Vessels enlisted in the U.S. Army in February 2002.
After finishing basic training and A.I.T. at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO he became an Army Military Police Officer. In 2002 he was sent to Ft. Sam Houston, TX where he remained until he was honorably discharged in 2004.

Officer Vessels graduated from the Texoma Regional Police Academy in May 2004.
Officer Vessels began his career with the Van Alstyne Police Reserve in 2004 and in January 2005 accepted a full-time position with VAPD.

Officer Vessels enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sports activities.
